About Rakki Daycare
Rakki Daycare would like to start off by thanking you for your interest in our services!
Our business began with a passion that Kelly did not know she had. While doing research on training for Oslo (Kelly’s puppy), she learned that building a strong and trusting relationship was an extremely important foundation for them. Kelly wanted to share her experience and love with other people and their dogs, and that is how Rakki Daycare came to be.
The word “Rakki” means dog or mutt. Kelly chose this word because she wanted to let people know that no matter what your dog’s size, breed, or looks are, they are welcomed and loved here!
Our goal is to be like no other doggy daycare out there.
While in our care we want your dogs to thrive and live their best life by building confidence and lifelong friends!
We service Elkridge, MD and surrounding areas. We are conveniently located 12 minutes from the BWI airport, thus making for easy pick-up and drop-off when you are in vacation mode.

Daily walks are
important for your dogs
We don’t like boring walks and neither do your dogs!
At Rakki Daycare, we don’t just walk your dogs. We add stimulating play by having them sniff for treats or food (that you provide), and doing basic commands at no extra cost!
Rakki Daycare believes in building trust with not just the pawrents, but also your four legged friends. We hope that the bond we build with your furry family members’ will keep them happy and engaged with us for the years to come!
We will take care of them for you
While at our daycare, your dogs will be exposed to a balance between socialization, play, and relaxation.
Rakki Daycare believes that socialization doesn’t always mean play, this keeps our dogs from becoming too adrenaline driven. We enjoy doing basic scent work and puzzles, along with just sitting outside and watching the day pass by.
This will all be implemented in your dog’s stay here with us!
